Approve Host Agents

After installation, each Host Agent appears as pending until a tenant administrator approves it. Approval links the host to your site and allows inventory uploads to Monozu Cloud.

Approval prevents unauthorized hosts from joining your tenant when an enrollment key is misused or leaked. You verify hostname, site, and network identity before data enters the CMDB.

  1. Sign in to https://cloud.monozu.io as a tenant administrator.

  2. Open Settings → Host Agents (or Pending Host Agents in your tenant build).

  3. Review the list. Each row shows hostname, site, first-seen time, and network identifiers visible in the UI.

  4. Confirm the host belongs to your organization (correct site, expected naming).

  5. Select the host and click Approve.

  6. After approval, inventory snapshots begin appearing in Assets / CMDB — see How Host Agent enriches Assets.

ActionWhen to use

Exact menu labels may vary slightly by tenant version; look under Host Agents in Settings.

Tenant administrators typically approve hosts. If your organization uses custom groups, ensure approvers have settings permissions for Host Agents. See Groups & Roles.
