Edge Appliance Overview

The Monozu edge appliance (EdgeZu) is on-premises hardware supplied by Monozu. It connects your OT/IT networks to Monozu Cloud using outbound-only traffic — no inbound firewall holes at your site.

Each appliance is usually deployed per VLAN or isolated segment. It discovers and monitors only the network attached to its LAN interface(s).

Devices use claim code pairing (not registration keys):

  1. Technician runs monozu edge register on the appliance.
  2. Monozu completes pairing to your tenant.
  3. Your admin verifies Online under Edge Devices.
